async STAR.position_single_pipetting_channel_in_z_direction(pipetting_channel_index: int, z_position: int)#

Position single pipetting channel in Z-direction.

Note that this refers to the point of the tip if a tip is mounted!

Parameters:
  • pipetting_channel_index (int) – Index of pipetting channel. Must be between 1 and 16.

  • z_position (int) – y position [0.1mm]. Must be between 0 and 3347. The docs say 3600,but empirically 3347 is the max.
