class pylabrobot.bmg_labtech.vantastar.ShakeSettings(pattern: Literal['orbital', 'linear', 'double_orbital'], speed: int, duration: int)#

Shaking the plate before the read: the fields of the CLARIOstar’s ShakeSettings. The shaker shakes right before the read, as Voyager does.

Variables:

  • pattern (Literal['orbital', 'linear', 'double_orbital']) – how the plate moves: “orbital”, “linear” or “double_orbital”.

  • speed (int) – rpm, a multiple of 100; the tested reader reports 700 rpm as its maximum.

  • duration (int) – whole seconds.

Raises:

ValueError – on construction, if a field is invalid (Shaker.build_shake).
